ADAMS Gail Marie Gail Marie Adams, age 76, of South Toledo, passed away on July 1, 2011, at the University of Toledo Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Gail was born in Alton, Illinois on July 6, 1934, to Paul and Bernice Moore. She married James "Jim" Robert Adams on October 19, 1957, and they moved to Venezuela shortly thereafter where Jim worked for the Owens Illinois Company. Returning to the United States in the early 1960's, they made their home in Toledo where Jim continued to work throughout his life for O-I. Gail's greatest joy was taking care of her family, especially her four grandchildren. She loved cooking and shopping for them, taking them to the zoo, and making special Easter baskets for each one. She was very proud of her children's accomplishments, especially her daughter, Leslie's success as a portrait artist. She documented everything by taking photographs and clipping newspaper articles to send to family and friends throughout the country. She also enjoyed working in her garden and caring for her pets. Gail is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, . She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jim. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Tuesday July 5, 2011 from 2-8 p.m., where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the mortuary on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may take the form of a contribution to the Paws and Whiskers Cat Shelter.
