SUSAN "SUSY" MARIE THOMAS LOGSDON, 72, died May 25, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. Born in Marion County Jan. 22, 1937, Logsdon was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She previously worked at IBM and Kelly Services. She was preceded in death by: a son, David Logsdon; her parents, Edd and Lyda Thomas; a sister, Mary Carrico; and a brother, Bobby Thomas. Survivors include: her husband, Joseph Patrick Logsdon; one daughter, Patti Parsons of Lexington; four sons, Mike Logsdon of New York, Phil Logsdon of Stamping Ground and Doug and Gary Logsdon, both of Lexington; eight sisters, Helen Chavez, Barbara Mattingly, Connie O'Daniel, Nancy Totten, Kathy Thomas, Peggy Gorman and Jacky Thomas; and 10 grandchildren. The funeral Mass was held May 27 with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Lexington. Fender Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
