Pita was survived by her sisters: Flora Montoya and Bertha Lucero of Española, and Ruby Sanders of Albuquerque; sons: Amado Trujillo (wife Lucia) of Albuquerque and Ralph Trujillo of Salt Flat, Texas; 3 grandsons: Ralph V. Trujillo of Pasadena, California; Phillip Trujillo (wife Jennifer Taylor) of Oakland, California; and Daniel Trujillo (wife Julia) of Scarsdale, New York; and 4 great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Lauren, Alexa and Sophia Trujillo. Pita was "G.G." to her great-grandchildren.
Guadalupe worked in an aircraft factory during World War II, as a teacher, and at the University of New Mexico. Her hobbies included: quilting, painting, tinsmithing, gardening and stitchery. Most of all she was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a loving and caring friend.
A Rosary and Funeral Mass were on July 22, 2011 Santa Cruz de la Cañada Church. Interment followed in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
