Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Born July 21, 1941, in Horton, Kan., he was the son of the late Carl E. (Buck) Toliver and Ora Martz Toliver. On Feb. 20, 1960, he married Mary Knight-Hutcherson who survives of the home. He had lived in Malta Bend most of his life and was manager of Central Missouri Agri-Service elevator at Malta Bend, formerly known as Fletcher Grain. He was commissioner for Malta Bend Special Road District for 25 years and was a member of Mt. Leonard Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Jackie (Buzz) Toliver, of rural Malta Bend, DeAnn Malan and her husband, Dale, of rural Malta Bend, Rick Toliver and his wife, Valerie, of rural Marshall, Bryan Toliver and his wife, Laura, of Paola, Kan. and Lynne Snyder and her husband, Barry, of rural New Franklin; nine grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Jim Hotchkiss, of Lakeworth, Fla; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Toliver, and one sister, Carol Hotchkiss.
