Alfred Clay Earnest, 62 years old, a native of San Marcos and a resident of San Antonio for 36 years, died at 12:35 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at 418 West Elmira street. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning from the residence of Mrs. Ida Thurman, 418 West Elmira street. Mr. Earnest is survived by two daughters, Mrs. M. C. Schlieper and Mrs. Ida Thurman, both of San Antonio; one sister, four brothers and three grandchildren.
