Janice Kay Andrews, 69, of Hillsboro, died on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at 8:50 a.m. at St. Francis Hospital at Litchfield.

Graveside service and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, with the Rev. Kenneth Sandlin officiating. Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.

Mrs. Andrews was born on Wednesday, June 24, 1942, at Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Homer and Edith (Zanni) Jones. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1960.

She was the wife of David Andrews. They were married on April 22, 1983. She had previously been married to Melvin "Hop" Simmons, Ronnie Parks, and Jack Bailey.

Mrs. Andrews worked in the activity department at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehab, Taylor Springs. She also worked for the State of Illinois and several businesses in and around Hillsboro. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lynda (companion Marty Leitschuh) Simmons of Nokomis; a son, James (companion Melissa Wernett) Simmons of Kearny, AR, and Tony (wife Billie) Simmons of Taylor Springs; a stepson, Joseph (wife Janet) Andrews of Litchfield; three stepdaughters, Sherry (companion Steve Dunn) Zanotti of Litchfield, Jane Bandara of Seattle, WA, and Shelly Montgomery of Gillespie; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren; and several step great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Andrews in death were two brothers, James and Larry Jones; one step grandson, Tony Zanotti; and one step granddaughter, Jessica Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Golden Circle Nutrition Program.
