Bonni Jo McLarty was born March 30, 1967, in Cherokee, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Louise (Mundy) Droegmiller. She graduated from Ida Grove (Iowa) High School with the class of 1986. She worked for nine years at the Good Samaritan Center in Holstein, Iowa. She married Gary McLarty May 18, 1991, at First United Methodist Church in Cushing, where the couple then resided. The family moved to Sioux City in 1998, where her focus was on the care of her husband and children. Survivors include her husband, Gary; three daughters, Tasha, Sara and Jessica, all at home; her mother, Louise Droegmiller of Cushing; a brother, Stephen and wife Jill Droegmiller of Cushing; a sister, Carol (Mrs. Tom) Raithel of Strawberry Point, Iowa; her mother-in-law, Thelma McLarty of Sioux City; several aunts; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Droegmiller; paternal grandparents, Grace and Herman Droegmiller; maternal grandparents, Alice and William Mundy; and aunt and uncles, George and Doris Mundy, Bill Mundy and Rudolph Droegmiller.
