Lillie Price Godbold, 90, of Magnolia, died July 16, 2010, at Aston Court in McComb.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. today until services at 3 at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb with Dr. Phil Gerber, the Rev. Joe Felder and the Rev. Delio DelRio officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia City Cemetery.
Mrs. Godbold was born Oct. 6, 1919, to Benjamin B. and Augusta Dupont Price.
She was a longtime member of Magnolia United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. She loved working in her home, working in her garden, tending flowers, and was especially known for her gumbo. She enjoyed reading, camping, church functions and visiting with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hugh Wallace Godbold; a brother, Donald Price; and a sister, Mattie Stevens.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Godbold and Sherron, and Bennie Godbold and Janice, all of Magnolia; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Godbold Johnson and JC of Magnolia; grandchildren, James and Kristie Rushing, Traci and Johnathan Carraway, Thomas Hugh and Ruthie Godbold, Jennifer and Stephen "Boogie" Breaux, Crystal Michelle and Steven "Woody" Kelley, Angie and Tim Albert, Jim and Dedee Johnson and Jay Johnson; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jimmy and David Godbold, David Fischer, Rex Ott, Lonnie Cox and Thomas Godbold.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Alford, Jonathan Carraway, Stephen Breaux, James Rushing, Steven Kelley and Blair Alford.
