Daniel M. Harkleroad Died Wednesday

Daniel M. "Tuck" Harkleroad,81,was dead on arrival last Wednesday at Tattnall Memorial Hospital in Reidsville after a heart attack.

The Tennessee native lived in Riceboro 38 years and in Glennville last four years. He was a retired employee of C.B. Jones and J.F. Browning Lumber Co. in Riceboro and a member of and past master of Hinesville Masonic Lodge 271. He was also an elder at Riceboro Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Millican Harkleroad of Glennville; a daughter, Mrs. T.C. Rogers of Glennville; two sons, Marion G. and Windell A. Harkleroad, both of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. Q.V. Sapp and Mrs. E.F. Ward, both of West Green: a brother, R.C. Harkleroad of West Green; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. last Friday at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.

Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge.
