Francis M. Edwards of Leon Dies in Pennsylvania

Francis M. Edwards of Leon died yesterday in Rochester Hospital in New Brighton, PA. Mr. Edwards was visiting a son, Earl Edwards, in New Brighton when he became ill. He was 78 years of age.

Survivors are: his wife, Louisa, of Leon; four sons, Orville of Charleston, Howard of Columbus, OH, Harry of Rutland, OH, and Earl of New Brighton, PA.; six daughters, Mrs. Alfred Cook of Ashville, OH, Mrs. Ernest Walters of Charleston, Mrs. Russell Moles of Elkview, Mrs. Lucy Hill of Columbus, OH, Mrs. Lewis Tripplett of Middleport, OH, and Mrs. Robus Ley of Marietta, OH.

The body will arrive here today at 5:00 p.m. and arrangements are in charge of the Raynes Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at the Leon Methodist Church tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. The body will remain at the mortuary until 1:00 p.m. tomorrow at which time it will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour before the services.
