BURLINGTON - James "Jim" Joseph Boyd Allred, 61, of 2731 Faucette Lane died April 7, 1992, at the VA Hospital in Durham.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Baynes Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Caswell County, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Maurine Tatum Allred; sons, James Kenneth Allred, Donald Edward Allred, both of Burlington; stepdaughter, Mrs. Angelia Campbell of Burlington; stepsons, Melvin Herbert Wilson Jr. of Haw River, Stephen Craig Wilson, Mark Wayne Wilson, both of Burlington; father, Joseph Tennon Allred of Burlington; sisters, Mrs. Ruby Hall, Mrs. Doris Hyler, Mrs. Betty Long, Mrs. Peggy Faucette, Mrs. Frankie Fox, all of Burlington; brothers, Bobby Lee Allred of Lugoff, S.C., Thomas Wayne "Pete" Allred, William Lonnie "Billie" Allred, both of Burlington; nine stepgrandchildren.
The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence.
