Eva Faye Hudson, 82, of Batesville died Saturday, July 2, 2011, in a Batesville hospital.

Born Nov. 13, 1928, in Dora, N.M., she was the daughter of Jesse Lee Funderburg and Virgia Bell (Smith) Funderburg. She was of the Christian faith and attended The Rock Church at Cushman.

Survivors include two sons, John Daniel Hudson of Batesville and Rick Alan Hudson of Kent, Wash.; seven daughters, Elizabeth Faye Hudson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Thelma Sue Sheets of Fort Collins, Colo., Sandra Jean Hannigan of Naples, Idaho, Kathryn Ann Johnson of Corinth, Texas, and Letah Lynn Bracewell, Tanya Rae Jarrett and Tammy Dae Braizer, all of Batesville; a brother, Billie Joe Funderburg of Seattle; a sister, Imajean Virgia Williamson of Sugarland, Texas; 25 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Hudson; her parents; three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Hudson, Annie Louise Hudson and Virgia Maye Brooks; and nine siblings.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Barnes Cemetery near Bethesda with Steve Gunter officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.

Memorials may be made to The Rock Church in Cushman.
