GEORGE TRACY YOUNG RITES Lumber Inspector For Number Years Corinth - Services for George Tracy Young of Corinth were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in McPeters Funeral Home with the Rev. A. L. Dickerson officiating. Burial was in Henry Cemetery. He was 73.

Mr. Young died at his home at 12:15 a.m. Saturday after an illness of several years. He was a retired lumber inspector and had resided in Corinth for 40 years.

Mr. Young was born in the Ratliff community and was married there on Sept. 8, 1912, to Miss Mattie Alta Elliff. He was a member of Corinth First Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Young leaves two sons, the Rev. Joe E. Young of tishomingo and T. Bruce Young of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Everett Byrd and Mrs. Duane Gray of Corinth; a brother, Carl Young of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Will Klyce of Corinth; and 12 grandchildren. One of his sons, Doyle, who died in 1962, was a city clerk of Corinth.
