Hattie Travis, wife of Thomas E. Hobbs, died suddenly as the result of an accident at her home in Brooklyn on Friday of last week.

The remains were brought to Peekskill on Friday and the funeral services were held from the home of her mother, 213 North Division street, on Sunday last at 2 o'clock.

The interment was at Hillside.

Mrs. Hobbs was born in Peekskill 40 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Travis.

She was married to Mr. Hobbs about twenty years. She leaves, besides her husband, a mother, four sisters, Mrs. Laura Travis, Mrs. John A. Boyce, Miss Grace Travis, of Peekskill, Mrs. J. E. Perry, of New York, and four brothers, Wm. H., Ira and Frank, of Peekskill, and Horace of Indianapolis.
