MRS FRED RAHNMrs. Louisa Caroline Rahn, wife of Fred Rahn died at her home in Edford township, Friday July 25, 1913, after an illness of about two and half years with diabetes. Mrs. Rahn has been a patient sufferer during the long period of her illness. She was a woman of lovable traits of character, a faithfull wife, fond and loving mother and a kind and true friend. Her passing is mourned by many besides the family.Louisa Caroline Fuhrman was born in Garbat Posen Germany in June 1862. She came to this country in the year 1883 and since has been a resident in the vincinity of Morristown . She was married in the year 1886 to Mr. Fred Rahn and to this union three children were born of whom one has preceded the mother in death.With her husband there survives two sons: Arthur and Herbert, and one grandchild. There also survive, two brothers, Herman Fuhrman of Fall Creek Wisconsin, Fred Fuhrman of Harris Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. Albert Winters of Humboldt Iowa, and a sister still living in Germany. Funeral services were conducted Sunday July 27 at St Johns Ev. Lutheran Church in Edford Township , her pastor, Rev. A.C. mennicke officiated. The interment was in the church cemetery near by. Those from away present at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ristau and family from Atkinson: Mr. Fred Fuhrman and daughter Louise from Harris Iowa: Mr. and Mrs Albert Winters from Humboldt Iowa : Mr. Herman Fuhrman from Fall Creek Wisconsin and Mr and Mrs Thomas White and family from Galva.
