L.E. Alford was born July 22, 1890, near Owensboro, Ky., and departed this life at his home in Chandler January 8, 1946, at the age of 55 years, 5 months and 7 days.

In 1906 the family moved to Oklahoma settling near Anadarko in Caddo Co., moving to Lincoln County in 1911.
