Arleigh Steele Fisher, 87, of Wytheville, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born October 10,1923 in Cedar Springs and was the son of the late Ellis and Mackie Sutherland Fisher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva McMillian Fisher, granddaughter, Courtney Fisher, brothers, Dale Fisher, Shaylor Fisher, James Fisher, sisters, Bessie Bowers, and Maxine Humphreys. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of West End Methodist Church. He is survived by son, Ralph "Tony" Fisher, of Nashville, Tenn.; grandson, Cameron Fisher, Nashville, Tenn.; nieces, nephews and his friends at Skeeter's also survive. Funeral service will be Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Rick Lindamood, with interment to follow in the West End Cemetery
