JOAN ELIZABETH KINGERY, 79. died in the Houston County Nursing Home in Crockett, TX. She was born and grew up in Cotton Wood Falls, Kansas with Clayton Settle and wife Faith Martin Settle. Joan E. Settle married George Kingery on June 25, 1947 in Manhattan, Kansas. They made their home in Houston for many years, having moved to Crockett, TX two years ago. Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, George Kingery. Daughters, Kathleen Selsky of North Carolina, Deborah Hargrove of Crockett. Son, David Kingery of Houston. Granddaughters, Julie Davenport of Crockett and Courtney Blair of Zavala. Great grandchildren, Colby and Jordan Davenport. Joan stayed home with her children until they were of school age. She has given our children the knowledge and ability to enjoy music, reading, learning, St. Stevens United Methodist Church activities and most of all THE TEN COMMANDMENTS to live by.
