PATRICIA HUMPHRIES, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2003. She was born December 25, 1917, in San Antonio to William and Josephine Farrish. On February 28, 1938, she married James J. Humphries, who preceded her in death August 1991. For over 50 years, Patricia and her family lived in Houston, and for the past three years, she has resided in Kerrville. Patricia is survived by her son, Michael W. Humphries, Sr., and his wife Sue of Kerrville; two grandchildren, Michael Humphries, Jr. and his fiance, Jennifer and Melissa Humphries Vitale and her husband Steve, all of Austin; one sister, Frances Dugosh of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with Rosary service to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Heights Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell in Memorial Park, with Rev. Msgr. William N. Pickard celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway.
