Wanda Marie Boruff, 89 year-old Enid OK resident, was born on October 7, 1921, in Oklahoma City OK and passed on to the Heavenly Father on May 4, 2011. As a young child, Wanda was adopted by the amazingly loving Roy and Lulu Morgan of Jefferson OK. She grew up and attended high school in Jefferson and then went on to nursing school in Enid. She married her high school sweetheart, Joe Boruff, on November 2, 1940. After Joe's military service with the U.S. Navy during World War II, they moved to Enid and there raised their two children. Wanda worked as a nurse in St. Mary's Hospital and was the office nurse for Dr. Bruce Hinson for many years until retirement. She was a proud member of First United Methodist Church in Enid and served as a volunteer for Bass Hospital for 29 years. She loved volunteering and working on various community activities with her many longtime and beloved friends.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Roy and Lulu; husband Joe; son Mike Boruff; and sister Leota Reames. Wanda's survivors include her daughter and son in law, Sharon and Bob Pollock of Frisco TX; daughter-in-law Sandy Boruff of Plano TX; sister Leora O'Mealy of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Rod Pollock of Washington DC, Scott Pollock of Plano, Danny Boruff of Plano, and Stacy Guzman of Rowlett, TX; great-grandchildren Cassi, Alexa, Blake, Brent, Billy, Breanna, and Ethan.

She will remain in the hearts of all who knew her and will be remembered for her undying, unselfish love and committment to her family, friends, and community.
