He was born in Troutdale to the late John and Charity Blevins Tolliver and was
preceded in death by his wife, Juanita J. Tolliver.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II and was the
recipient of several medals of valor.
Survivors include one son, James A. Tolliver; one daughter, Pam Tolliver Childs;
and grandchildren, Stephanie Tolliver, Catherine Tolliver, Will Childs III and
Tyler Anne Childs.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at 2 p.m. at the
Troutdale Cemetery with full military honors being rendered by Francis Marion
VFW Post 4667.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.
