Carmel was born August 20, 1914 in Park Springs TX and died June 3, 2004 in Aransas pass, Texas. In his latter years Carmel Lee Chadwick lived with his son and daughter-in-law Philip and Delores Chadwick. They took wonderful care of him. He married Ruby Lee Duck on August 24, 1935. Ruby died in September 2000. In the early 1940's they moved to Aransas Pass where he was employed at the Carbon Black Plant. He retired from there in 1978. He was a very active member of the First Baptist Church. He served as an usher and taught boys Sunday school class. He always grew a nice vegetable garden. He also enjoyed hunting coyotes with his hound dogs, and fishing near Harbor Island and Redfish Bay. Carmel's siblings were William Jewel "Jude" Chadwick, K. W. Chadwick and Inell Chadwick Wasson.
