Anita Baldonado, age 92, a resident of Algodones, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2005.
Anita was born on September 9, 1912 in Cuba, New Mexico the daughter of Crisantos and Margarita Lucero DeHerrera.
Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Eduvigen Baldonado in 2000 and by two children, Marcial Baldonado and Leroy Baldonado.
Anita is survived by three sons, Jimmy Baldonado and his wife, Theresa of Algodones, Gilbert Baldonado and his wife, Mary of Algodones and Julian Baldonado and his wife, June of Tijeras, NM, five daughters, Lillian Rivera and her husband, Richard of Algodones, Angelita García and her husband, Alejandro of Albuquerque of Albuquerque, Sadie Baldonado of Algodones, Lorraine Segura of Albuquerque and Esther Lerma of Reserve, NM, two daughter-in-laws, Priscilla Baldonado and Gloria B. Domíngues, 31 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Rosary will be recited on Monday, September 5, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo with the Mass of Resurrection on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Donald Rivera, Eddie García, Mark Segura, Ernie Baldonado, Anthony Baldonado, Gilbert Baldonado Jr. and Nathan Domínguez. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Baldonado, Ronald Rivera and Eric Baldonado.
