Leander H. Bond died Friday evening at the home of his son, George, southwest of the city after a prolonged illness, aged eighty-six years.
He is survived by two sons, George of this county, and Arthur of Los Angeles, Calif. His wife passed away in 1924.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Scott's chapel, conducted by Rev. Ross McCown. Interment in Evergreen Home cemetery.
