Naomi L. Lueck, age 89, of Oshkosh died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center. Born February 7, 1922, the daughter of James and Laura (Middlecamp) Connick, Naomi married Clarence Lueck on June 14, 1941. Clarence preceded Naomi in death on May 17, 1987.

Naomi graduated from Oshkosh High School and was a charter member of the a cappella choir at the high school. She was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its choir for over 50 years. Naomi was a member of the Cecelian Singers group. She enjoyed crafts, needlework and swimming at the YMCA after her retirement from SNC manufacturing. Naomi loved to travel to many different places with her loving family.

Those left to remember Naomi include her son, Michael Lueck of Oshkosh; daughters, Jean Lloyd of Washington D.C., Laura (Robert) Emmerichs of Bellingham, Washington, Antoinette Lueck of Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also survived by her brother, Lloyd Connick of Lake Jackson, Texas. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; husband and brothers, Durwood and Ray Connick.

Funeral service for Naomi will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 338 North Eagle Street with Pastor David Pagel officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
