Per Utah Death Certificate, died 9 Mar 1921 in Dividend, Utah of a gunshot wound to the abdomen; homicide. Employed at Pool Hall. Also killed in the hold up for East Tintic Store, was John Westerdahl, mine superintendent of Tintic Standard Mines. Two others were shot.

Lived in Dividend 2 years; wife Ruth.
