Obituary - Myrtle May Sprouse, 78, of Midvale, Utah, died August 17, 1992 at the St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, following complications of heart surgery.
She was born Sept. 15, 1913 in Vernal, Uintah County, Utah, a daughter of Elmer James Richens and Chloe Elzina Holmes. Married Clive Sprouse, later divorced; married Robert Teleford; also divorced. Served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at Los Angeles LDS Temple Visitors Center from 1979-1980. A loving mother and a wonderful lady who will be missed greatly by family and friends.
Survived by two sons, two daughters and spouses, Gary and Eileen Sprouse, Bountiful; Leon and LuVee Sprouse, Neola; LaVar and LaMarr C. Moffitt, Salt Lake City; Judy May and Jerry Martinez, St. George; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 1992, 9:30 a.m. at the Midvalley 9th Ward, 8060 So. 615 East, Sandy; later that day at 3 p.m., a viewing will be held at the LaPoint Chapel. Friends may call at the Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 East from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening, August 21, 1992.
