A veteran of World War I. he served as a private in the 313th Field Artillery. He was a member of Frank P. Hommon Post 24,
American Legion, of Huntingdon. His wife and two children, Franklin M. Bowman and Mrs. Vera A. Criswell of Calvin, survive.
Three grandchildren, Carol, Max, and James Criswell, also survive. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Funeral services will be held Monday. October 25, at 11 a. m, in the Trough Creek Valley Baptist Church. The Rev. Samuel
Kissiel. pastor of the Cassville Methodist charge, will officiate and interment will be made in the Baptist Cemetery in Trough
Creek Valley. A prayer service will be held at his late home at 10:15 a. m. on Monday. Friends may call at the Bowman home
after 1 p. m. on Saturday until the hour of services. McClain funeral service, Cassville.
