Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Retta Ellen Anderson Dalton, age 86, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 1992, at her home. Retta was born September 28, 1905, Beaver, Utah, a daughter of William Rucker and Ida Ruth Adelia Carter Anderson. Married Dennis Wilford Dalton March 5, 1927, in Beaver, Utah; marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away February 17, 1955. She was reared in Beaver. Member Farmington 14th LDS Ward. Member DUP Camp Aurelia Spencer Rogers.

Survived by six sons and two daughters, Carol and Hazel Anderson Dalton, Bountiful; John D. Dalton, Salt Lake City; Robert E. Dalton, Murray; William R. Dalton, Kearns; Dennis Wilford Jr. and Laurel Mary Dalton, Layton; James David and Debra Mae Dalton, West Valley City; Alice and Merlin Phelps, Helen and Gary Perkins, all Farmington; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ireta Ashworth, Beaver. Preceded in death by husband, daughter, Ida, grandson, Steven. Funeral services Thursday, 2 p.m., Steed Creek LDS Ward Chapel, 347 South 200 West, Farmington, where friends may call Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary.
