RUTH ROSE ABBOTT, a long time resident of Yucaipa, CA passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the age of 92. Ruth was born May 22, 1916, in Wallowa, Oregon. She was very proud of her military service during WWII. Ruth was a Captain in the Army. She was a school teacher for over 45 years. Ruth is survived by her two sons, Kenneth and Robert Abbott; daughter, Lynda Cutter; three grandsons, Peter, Scott and Tristan Abbott; granddaughter, Melissa Cutter; three great grandsons, Joshua, Porter and Colin Abbott; and great granddaughter, Katie Abbott.
