Deceased Name: Stekelenburg, Wayne Edgar, age 89, 02/27/1920 to 12/13/2009. Wayne was born in Salix, Iowa. He was a construction contractor. Wayne is survived by his wife, Evelyn; and daughters, Karen Davis and Janet Goodwin. A service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Aloha. Arrangements by Alternative Burial and Cremation.

Wayne's father was Leonard Steklenburg, born June 3, 1900 in Hospers, Sioux, Iowa. Leonard married Zelpha Galland of Salix. Their son was Wayne. Later Leonard married Beatrice Conner. Leonard owned the Plymouth Garage at Hawarden and was manager of the airport there. He died in December of 1946 in an airplane crash while hunting coyotes.
