Mrs. Hunzinger Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Ellen Sophia Hunzinger, 77, died suddenly this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Lucia) Hartrich in Sainte Marie, IL.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Sainte Marie with Rev. Fr. George Windsor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Friends may call at the Flagg funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mrs. Hunzinger was born Jan. 10, 1876, in Sainte Marie, a daughter of Jacob and Caroline (Hahn) Bolander.
She was married to Arthur Hunzinger Sept. 5, 1916, and he preceded her in death.
Survivor are sons Paul of Sainte Marie, IL and Harry of Dieterich, IL; daughters, Mrs. Harold (Lucia) Hartrich of Sainte Marie, IL and Mrs. Fremont (Judy) Walker of Olney, IL; brothers, Leo and Andy of Sainte Marie, IL, Joe of Pontiac, IL, Louis of Streator, IL, C. A. of Winner, SD; sisters, Mrs. Mary Hunt of Whittier, CA, and Mrs. Katherine Starr of El Monte, CA, and 10 grandchildren.
Mrs. Hunzinger was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church and the Mary Martha Altar Society and the Sacred Heart Novitiate Sewing circle.
Two brothers and a son Richard preceded her in death in addition to her husband.
