Josie was the daughter of "Bud" McVey and Viola York MCVEY. She married (1) Lee Scribner and had one son, Andrew with him. Lee died and Josie remarried (2) William Knox Yates. While Josie was not my grandmother by blood, she was a wonderful kind soul who helped to raise my dad William Gale Yates and his brothers. We all miss her gentle ways and hearing her say, "Well, bless its heart". She had the prettiest blue eyes. She is buried next to her second husband Will Yates. Her son is buried in this same cemetery, but may not have a stone.
