L.A. Courtney of Lancaster Dies
Lancaster, Feb 4 - Funeral services for L.A. Courtney, 84, who died today at his home in the Buford section of Lancaster County, will be conducted at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at Tabernacle Methodist church with interment in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Della Sistare Courtney, and the following children; J.R. and Edgar Courtney of Lancaster, A.C. and Curtis C. Courtney, Charlotte; Mrs. S.L. Thompson, Mrs. F.F. Starnes and Mrs. W.E. Starnes of Van Wyck, Mrs. M.D. Starnes of Monroe, Mrs. C.L. McGuirt of Cassatt and Mrs. R.A. Threatt, Lancaster.
