Obituary.

Mr. Albert Voss, who died at his home in Comal Town Wednesday last week of paralysis
of the heart, was born at Altenplachtow, Saxony, Germany in 1852 and hence had reached the
age of 65 years. He immigrated to Texas in 1869, then only 18 years of age, and soon there. after moved to York Creek, where he farmed successfully until December 1916, when he and his wife moved to New Braunfels to live at rest the remaining years of his life, but his health soon failed. Suffering from rheumatism, from which he sought relief at Marlin, but without success, his death followed as the above stated. Decedent in 1873, married Miss Friedericke
Dietert, who survives him, of which union ten children were born one of whom died in early childhood..

Deceased is survived, besides his widow, by three sons, Willie, Richard and Albert Voss and six daughters, Mrs Aug Dreibrodt, Mrs Gus Rabe, Mrs Gus Fischbeck, Mrs.Gus Schubert, Mrs Fritz Loep and Mrs Edwin Meyer..

The funeral took place in Zorn Thursday last week, Rev. Mornhinweg conducting the services, and a large concourse of sympathizers attending the obsequies..
