Obituary of Gus H. Bass
Mr. Gus H. Bass, 86, of Lawrenceville, GA formerly of Wiggins, MS, died June 30, 2011, in Lawrenceville, GA. Mr. Bass was retired Marine, served in WWII and Korea, retired from US Postal Service and was a member of First Baptist Church of Wiggins. He is survived by 2 sons: Kenny Bass and Ronny (Jeanne) Bass both of Westminster, MD and one daughter GiGi (John) Carder of Lawrenceville, GA Also survived by a granddaughter Emilee Bass Loar (Chris) of Frostburg, MD and also survived by many nieces and nephews in Texas, Florida and Mississippi. Mr. Bass was preceded in death by his parents Jasper Augustus Bass and Effie Mae Ivey Bass and Eight siblings. Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time Tuesday. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements. The Sun Herald July 3, 2011
