Mattie Victoria Andersen, 85, died March 10.


She was born in Anoka, Minnesota. She lived in Silverton from 1970 to 1990 and was a nursing assistant at Silverton Nursing Home. She belonged to Silverton Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed her family and the ocean.


She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Amador.


Survivors include her son Eugene (Lorna) Dotolo of College Place, Washington; brother, Arnold Brown of Minnesota; sisters, Bonnie Posterick of Salem, Dixie Benson of Albany, Donna Stucky of Idaho, Joyce Hollinder of Minnesota, Judy Disselbrett of Delaware, and Marlene Hollinder of Minnesota; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.


A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Unger Funeral Chapel in Silverton. Arrangements: Unger Funeral Chapel, Silverton.
