Donald Ray Ecklar, 60, of California, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Grant Manor Health Care Center in Williamstown. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of Mayme Catherine Morgan Ecklar and the late Henry Ecklar. He was a former police officer for the city of Williamstown and an Army veteran. Survivors include four sons, Donald Lee Ecklar and Danny Joseph Ecklar, both of Corinth, and Donald Ray Ecklar and Douglas Ecklar, both of Williamstown; one daughter, Melissa Spicer of Florence; his mother, Mayme Ecklar of Williamstown; two brothers, Jerry Thomas Ecklar of Jonesville and Paul Ecklar of Morning View. Graveside services were held June 3 at Camp Nelson national Cemetery in Nicholasville.
