Jack grew up in the farmlands of Iowa.His parents were Francis and Maude Gleason. He had one sister, Dorothy Marie Gleason Barnes.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1944. After the Navy he moved to California, his family had already moved there. He met Delores"Dee" Fern Pretzer and they were married in 1951. Together they had 4 children, Michael, Jackie, Glenda and Mark.
Dee passed away in 1989. Their son Michael passed away in 1984.
Jack owned Paramount Roofing. He loved his family and friends.
