MRS. ESTEL GEORGE

RENSSELAER -- Mrs. Ida Anna George, 76, of Rt. 6, died at 9 a.m. Friday in Jasper County Hospital. She had been ill two weeks.

Born in Barkley Township, she was a life resident of here except for two years in Chicago Heights.

She was a member of Brushwood United Methodist Church at Aix and was married in 1913 to Estel George who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Arthur George of East Gary, Dale of Hobart and Lyle of Rensselaer; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Hansen of Rensselaer; and two sisters, Mrs. Lyman Peters of Rensselaer, and Mrs. Perry Minnick of San Bernardino, Calif.


GEORGE, Ida Anna--Friends may call at Jackson Funeral Home, Rensselaer, after 2 p.m. Sunday. Service in Jackson Funeral Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Bernard I. Wynn officiating. Interment Memory Gardens. Preceded in death by two daughters, a son and a brother. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
