Into Moving Train
Keokuk, Ia., Nov. 21.—Robert Hardin, Jr., 25, of Montrose, was instantly killed Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock when the car he was driving crashed into the sixteenth car of a moving train near Wapello, Ia. No inquest was held. The young man was on his way too Montrose from Moline, Ill., where he had been working.
He was born in Montrose August 6, 1912. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hardin, Sr., of Montrose; five brothers, Ernest Hardin of Hannibal, Emmett of Rock Island, Fred of Donneilson, Searsey of Fort Madison and William of Montrose and two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Waider of Davenport and Mrs. Della Lang of Salem. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Church of the Nazarene.
