"Miss Lillie Moore, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Moore of near Clifton, died Wednesday afternoon May 17, at 2 o'clock, after an illness of about six weeks. She was taken with tonsillitis then with inflammatory rheumatism and at last with quick consumption. She suffered greatly and had not been able to lie down for the last four weeks. She was about fourteen years of age and previous to her last illness had been strong and healthy. She leaves a sister older and a brother younger than herself besides a father and mother and many friends to mourn her early death. The funeral occurred on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the U. P. church at Columbus City, of which she was a member. Services conducted by Rev. Greer, her pastor. The family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement."
