Alexander, Lowell William age 55 of 10 Brand St., Canton, Pa., suddenly Thursday December 7th 1972. The body is at the Ralph T. Kleese Funeral Home, Canton, Pa. Calling hours Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. funeral and committal there Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Thomas Logston. Burial in the Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, Pa. Survived by wife, Catherine Burr; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Darlene Ruth Alexander) Williams of Troy, Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Holmes of Canton; son, Francis Lowell (Norm) Alexander of Canton; eight grandchildren; sisters, Miss. Erma Alexander of Elmira, N.Y., Mrs. Clyde Dale, Towanda, Pa. He was born in Laquin, Bradford County on June 12, 1917 and was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at the Remington Rand for 31 years, member of the Red Run Rod and Gun Club, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 429, Canton, Pa., life member of Innes Hose, Co., Canton, Pa., member of the South Mountain Ridge Riders. He and his wife observed their 32nd wedding anniversary in April of 1972.
