He was a son to Wallace and Genevieve (Stiner) McGough. On Jan 27, 1973, he married Sharon Hanna, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are children, Tambra & Josh Kimmel, David & Nikki Hole, and Tracy Hole & Nikki Riley, all Celina; two brothers, Wesley, Hicksville and Frank (Judy Gant), Kettering; three sisters, Jane (Herbert) Tobias, New Lebanon, and Jeannette Balou and Kathy (Bob) Rutledge, all Rockford; five grandchildren, Dustin (Krista) Wyatt, Abbey Wyatt, Jonathan Hole, Britton Hole, Marissa Hole; and two great-grandchildren Tristan Wyatt and Aislyn Wyatt.
Deceased are a brother, William (Cindy); two sisters, Joan (Les) Staugler and Roseann (Dick) Teboe; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary (Jolly) McGough.
He graduated from Celina High School and then he served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 in Vietnam. He received a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. He retired in 2009 from CAPT, Celina. He was a member of the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713.
Services are at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Richard Van Horn, officiating.
