Lee N. McClure, 79, a retired employe of the City of South Charleston, died early yesterday in Dunn Hospital after a long illness. He was a former janitor at the city jail.

Mr. McClure lived at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Zola Livengood of 1242 Park Av., Charleston. He was a former resident of Lincoln County and a member of Cobbs Creek Baptist Church.

Also surviving are a son, Carl of Charleston; four sisters, Mrs. Louanna Stone of Morrisville, Mrs. Ellis Dunlap of RFD 2, Charleston, Mrs. Pina Lanham and Mrs. Martha D. Pauley, both of South Charleston; a brother, Harry of St. Albans; and four grandchildren.

Service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Snodgrass mortuary chapel. Rev. Allen Skeens and Rev. Hobson D. Fisher will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

The body will be taken to the residence this afternoon.
