Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Randolph County, a retired employee of Surveying Services and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are wife, Vanetta A. Harper of the home; daughter, Wendy Brower of Seagrove; son, Brad Harper of Asheboro; sisters, Viola Massingill of Hampton Va., Barbara Rich of Asheboro; brother, Oris Harper of Asheboro; three grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Saturday, other times at the home.
