She was the wife of the late Oliver R. Brown.She was born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Adelard & Mary A. ( Bessette) Fredette.
She was raised by her late grandparents Gustave & Exilda Fredette.
She had worked in the Design Department of the Swank Company for over 42 years before retiring in 1976.She has lived in Norton for over 77 years coming from Attleboro.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Norton.
She was very active in organizations and activities, she was the Past Supreme Deputy of Foresters, member of the Daughters of Isabella, Lady Katherine Circle, Norton Catholic Women's Club, she was Past Chairman of Norton Council of Aging.
She had been a volunteer for the Bristol Elder Services on Aging, Greater Fall River Council on Aging, the Norton Bi-Centennial Committee, member of the Meadowlarks Singing Group, a whist club member for many years. Bowling League member, Norton Minstrel Show,and was a long time election poll worker in Norton.
She was the mother of the late Jeanne Pelletier, and sister of the late Irene, Margaret, Rita.
She was the grandmother of the late David R. Pelletier.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Foley – Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, with a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary's Church 133 South Worcester St. Norton, burial will follow in Norton Common Cemetery.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours are Sunday from 3 – 5 pm.
