Adam Vanwey Dead
Adam Vanwey died at the home of his son, Rufe, at Green Top, Thursday, August 17. The body was brought to Edina, Friday and buried in the Linville cemetery. His death was caused by a disease of the stomach.
He was born in Ohio in 1864 and came to Edina with his parents later. October 25, 1891 [sic] he married Miss Zopho Frobes and moved to Adair county. The wife died 8 years ago last September. He is survived by three children, Eulalia, Grace and Rufe; two sisters, Miss Cinderella, who lives at Green Top and Mrs. Allen Lingenfelder of Edina; two brothers, John of Green Top and Vick of Texas.
