Almon Burr Johnson died at his home in Clark's Hill, Wednesday evening at 6:30 o'clock, of a complication of diseases. He was born in Tippecanoe county July 16, 1849, and married December 23, 1872 to Miss Polly Hedreich of Illinois. His widow and the following children survive: Mrs. Samuel Parvis, Mrs. Cora Davis and Ora Johnson, of Clark's Hill, Mrs. John Donnelson and Mrs. Gretta Bishop, of Arcadia; Mrs. Hugh Conroe, of Straford, Iowa, and Mrs. Luther Miller, of Conroe, and Homer Johnson, of Paris, France. One brother, Russell Johnson, of the Indiana State Soldiers' home at Lafayette, also survives. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the United Brethren church at Clark's Hill, the Rev Dickerson officiating. The interment will be in the Clark cemetery.
