FRANK GORDON
PORTSMOUTH-Frank Gordon 82 of the 1200 block of Roosevelt Blvd., died Nov. 18, 2007, in his residence. He retired after 21 years in the U.S. Navy and also retired after 20 years with the Commissary Produce Department.

Born in Waynesboro, Georgia, he was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, Portsmouth, where he was a former trustee, male usher, board member and on the wait staff. He was a member of Washington Lodge of Masons and former member of the American Legion Post No. 190 and the Survivors Club.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Gordon; two sons, Thomas Gordon and Alvin Gordon; two stepsons. Anthone Rogers and Steve Rogers (Andria); a sister, Louvenia Elder; a brother, Ralph Gordon (Trudy); four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Celestine Larry.
